Amour
The Westfield World Trade Center, otherwise known as the Oculus. Situated in the heart of lower Manhattan, adjacent to the September 11th memorial.

Reflect
At the National September 11th Memorial & Museum. Making the trip to New York for the first time I made sure to visit this somber reminder of that terrifying day and all the lives lost.

Cascade
The water continues to flow in remembrance of those lost.

Angels and Demons
The upper facade of the New York Stock Exchange.

Mecca
As an avid Apple user I had to make the pilgrimage to see the iconic glass cube of the 5th Avenue flagship store.

Terminus
11pm at the world famous Grand Central Terminal. Notice the the Apple store on the mezzanine level.

America
I love this detail of the American flag hanging over this side entrance at the Grand Central Terminal.

Gilded
Ornate details inside the Grand Central Terminal.

Chandelier
A fine chandelier fitting of a grand train station.

Arch
Don't suppose they make tunnel exits grander than this.

Encapsulation
The signature view of the Empire State Building being encapsulated by the Manhattan Bridge. Head over to Brooklyn via the Brooklyn Bridge and just follow the crowd; you'll find it.

The House that Jeter Built
It was surreal indeed for this baseball fan to attend a game at Yankee Stadium. Even though it isn't the old one, the new stadium is already dripping with immense history and flair.

Emptiness
It was a surprise indeed for this San Franciscan to find a 24-hour operating subway system, and much welcomed too. We were in Harlem at 3 in the morning, needing to go to our hotel in Lower Manhattan. The fact we can take a simple train ride during those hours is awesome.
