The Bean
The impossibly seamless 'Cloud Gate' sculpture, more colloquially known as 'The Bean'. Located in Millennium Park, it may not be the most famous landmark in Chicago, but it was the one we wanted to visit first.

Angles
Chicago's high-rises sure are pretty.

Hedgerow
Millennium Park.

Eastward
Millennium Park.

Foliage
Trees in alignment on the Chicago waterfront next to Lakeshore Drive.

Dock
With the city flanking Lake Michigan, one would expect Chicago to have a vibrant water-recreation scene, and indeed it does.

Lake Shore Drive
We are at the entrance of the Chicago river as it flows in from Lake Michigan and onwards snaking through downtown.

Chicago River
The incredibly scenic Chicago River. Touring the length on boat is highly recommended.

The Narrows
I definitely had 'The Dark Knight' flashbacks whilst on the Chicago River boat tour. Chicago is indeed Gotham city come to life.

Night River
It's unfair for Chicago to have a river running through its downtown. I mean, of course it's going to look gorgeous! It's an urban night-scape photographer's dream.

The Friendly Confines
No baseball fan credential is complete without making the pilgrimage to Wrigley Field.

Intersect
The view of the downtown loop as we made the stroll towards Soldier Field.

Marina
Chicago is so picturesque it's nearly unfair.

Skyline
The clouds made this view even more perfect. What beauty.

Commercial
The Chicago of postcards.

Blossom
The Buckingham Fountain located in Grant Park, one of the largest water fountains on the planet.

Condominium
High-rise condos doesn't look/get better than these.

Cross Section
A cross-sectional view of Chicago from US Cellular Field. We were there attending a Chicago White Sox baseball game.

Night stranger
I took this shot at the same spot as previous, only this time the baseball game is over and it's well into the night. Oh Chicago you gorgeous thing.
